Does IT still matter today?
Imagine if you could have freedom, not be a slave not doing what people told you to do and live the America dream. That’s what Americans are living right now. We can be whatever we want to be. We don't have to control and we can enjoy the beauty of our flag and country. Does Patriotism still matter today?

I believe that Patriotism should still matter today as much as it did fifty years ago because people fought for our freedom and people are still fighting today for our country. We need to appreciate our service men and women because they are risking their lives to save ours.

Each person should respect the people in the military because they fight for our country. They take up ten to fourteen weeks of training to enter a war, so basically they are taking up about three mouths of their time just to train and to protect our country to save our life's and make our country a better and safer place.

On the other hand I do believe that you should spend as much time with your family as much as you can. You never know if they might die. For example if let's say that you are training and your father or mother is sick I think that you should get permission to leave right away because you never one when they are going to die.
Patriotism still matters today. If you do not think that patriotism is not important today, I think that people should think it is because it really is. The military is very important. They protect our country and they take up three mouths of their time, pulse they are risking their life to save ours and this is still happening today.
